Species of vine
Situated in the volcanic hills of Castelcerino, in the Menini area, supported by Verona style pergola vine trellises, on average twenty years old, mainly with south-east exposure.
The grapes are harvested manually at the beginning of October, when the ripening is optimal. After removing the grape-stalk the grapes are pressed and immediately refrigerated, so as to undergo a short cryomaceration prior to a soft pressing.
We let the must ferment in temperature conditioned tanks. The wine matures with its own yeasts in stainless steel containers for at least three months. This has the effect of consolidating the fragrance and longevity of the aroma.
Straw-yellow with greenish hues.
Fine, delicate, fruity smell, typical of citrus fruits and banana, lightly floral.
Fresh and harmonic with a characteristic almond backtaste.
12,5 % vol.
To be served at a temperature of 10/12 °C. Ideally served with: horsd’oeuvres, pasta, soups, fish, white meat; recommended for all dishes.
